Listen as if you're a stranger discovering your business for the first time.
If someone waits longer than a minute with nothing but silence or static, that's a real risk of a hang-up.
Is it generic stock audio—or something intentionally connected to your brand?
Listen for anything rushed, robotic, unclear, or inconsistent with how your business presents itself elsewhere.
If callers have to navigate more than 3–4 options to find what they need, you're spending patience you can't get back.
Your business name should be clear and confident—not mumbled, rushed, or missing.
Listen for static, distortion, background noise, echo, or recordings that sound like they were made on a phone.
Check multiple phone lines, departments, or team members for consistency.
Is your voicemail or after-hours experience as considered as your live greeting?
